CLUB MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:

The club was formed in September 2000 at the Shepton Mallet Show. La strada, the German manufacturers, do not, of course, control the club but have been very supportive. The owners of about 100 la strada vehicles now belong to the club.

Our membership is fairly widespread with owners coming from as far afield as Aberdeen, Jersey, Spain and Northern Ireland. Although there is an interest in club meetings (particularly of 2/3 night duration), we tend to have a maximum of 6 each year. Some members do not attend the meetings but are very interested in a means of exchanging information with other owners. The meetings are very informal affairs and, although some events are arranged e.g. walks, visits to nearby places of interest etc, the emphasis is on freedom to do what you want.

Along with this web site, there is a regular hardcopy Newsletter providing a means for those without internet access to pass on any items of interest such as problems, tips and any other appropriate advice. Norman Ward, the editor is always pleased to hear from members that wish to share their experiences with others.
